COVID-19 UPDATE

Given that the novel coronavirus is airborne and directly affects the respiratory tract, in-person voice lessons simply cannot be safely given until there is a vaccine. All lessons will be held via Zoom until further notice.

If you would like further information, HERE is a great reading list citing studies on singing and bio-aerosol transmission, and HERE is a great panel conducted by the National Association of Teachers of Singing this past May.

Stay safe out there!

Each lesson is designed to help the student grow through detailed technical study and performance coaching. You will be guided through the process of getting to know your own instrument without imitating other singers out there. Your voice is as individual and identifiable as your fingerprint, let's find it! Through lessons you will be given the tools to enable you in trouble-shooting your own practice. My job is to get you to be able to trust in your own abilities and to express yourself to the fullest. As singers, we're tasked with telling stories and guiding audiences in feeling something along with us. Through application of great technique coupled with truly expressive intent, you'll be unstoppable!

Dr. Leytham is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
